Project management
If you are running a business, or even working in a business, you have a lot going on. There are so many different moving parts and keeping things in order can be a struggle. We feel ya, we’ve been there. That’s why we decided to incorporate a project management platform and highly suggest them for our customers. Let us just tell you...they are lifesavers. We have used Trello in the past and we currently use Monday and we love them both for different reasons.
Monday.com
Monday is a little bit pricier than Trello, but it has a lot of details and you can do a lot more with it, which our team really likes. You have the ability to create projects and communicate with your team in conversation. Once a project or a task is done, you can move it to a complete board and keep everything organized if it ever needs to be referenced again. If it does need to be referenced, you can easily click right back into it and see all the conversation, dialogue and notes for the project. It really is a life saver. Monday not only helps BMG stay organized and on track, it allows us to easily communicate with each other.
Trello
Trello is really nice because it’s free. Who doesn’t love free?! It’s also extremely user friendly and very easy for you to see all your existing tasks. Basically, how it works, is you have different columns and you can label them however you want. We labeled ours as to do, in progress, ready to review, roadblock and completed. Everyone on the team is able to clearly see where each task is in the pipeline and if there are any roadblocks. Once a task is ready to be moved to a different category, all you have to do is slide it over. Foolproof.
